Trae Young was beside himself at the end of the Atlanta Hawks' game against the Dallas Mavericks after a huge non-call ultimately gave the Mavs a 118-117 win on Wednesday.

The Hawks were down by one and had the final possession to try and steal this game away from Dallas. Young was hit by Mavs center Willie Cauley-Stein on the play after setting a screen, but the officials didn't blow their whistle and the play went continued.

Check out Young's heated exchange with the officials after the final buzzer (via Bleacher Report):

The Hawks drew up a great play on their last possession with Young setting a screen to hopefully get the switch. His hard screen was met by an even harder Cauley-Stein shoulder which eventually dropped the 22-year-old.

After the non-call, the Hawks still had a chance to win the game as the ball ended up with Danilo Gallinari. Unfortunately, Gallo's last-second shot was a bit to the left and the Mavs escaped with the one-point win. Young was furious and immediately approached the officials after the game. He also seemed to suggest that he was hit on the face as he looked to have been bleeding from the nose after the play. Tough night for Trae and the Hawks.

Young though still balled out for the Hawks on a losing effort. He ended with 25 points, seven boards, and 15 assists and had huge plays for Atlanta down the stretch. He was outdone though by a fellow 2019 rookie class member Luka Doncic who notched another triple-double with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists to help the Mavs win their third game in a row.

These two are going to be linked forever in their NBA careers.
