Mavs rookie Luka Doncic has missed the last two games due to a sore right ankle, but it sounds like he has been cleared to play in Monday's matchup against the Clippers.

Mavs beat writer Mark Followill shared news of Doncic's status after Monday's shootaround:

This is certainly good news for Mavs fans, as Doncic is the team's primary option on the offensive end of the floor. He's leading Dallas in several statistical categories, including points, rebounds and assists. Whether or not he'll be placed on a minutes restriction remains to be seen.

In his 55 appearances with the Mavs this season, Doncic has racked up averages of 20.7 points on 43.0 percent shooting from from the field (34.8 percent from beyond the arc), 7.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists and a steal in 32.2 minutes per outing.

In other Mavs-related injury news, Maxi Kleber has also been cleared to play in Monday's game. Kleber was held out of Saturday's game against the Jazz due to an illness. Dirk Nowitzki got the starting nod in his place. Wilson Chandler (quadriceps) is close to making his debut with the team, according to a report from ESPN:

Monday night's Mavs-Clippers game is scheduled to tip inside Staples Center at 10:30 p.m. ET, with NBA TV having live broadcast coverage.
