The Michigan Wolverines are probably going to benefit from a lot of other programs seeming dirty in the wake of the FBI probe. It is why it came as no shock that 2018 4-star big man Colin Castleton committed to the program.

As other major programs in the country are currently terrified of what happens next (especially as people begin to snitch on each other), Michigan's basketball program is often touted as being one of the cleanest in the country. While no one actually knows that to be 100 percent true, if there's smoke, there's usually fire.

For the Wolverines, this smoke isn't signaling something horrific. Instead, an actual program positive.

As for Colin Castleton, the 6-foot-11 is regarded as the No. 120 overall prospect in the Rivals national Class of 2018 rankings. That might not seem like the greatest ranking since sliced-bread, but remember that the Wolverines do have a history of turning lower-level 4-stars and turning them into productive monsters.

Our near 7-foot unicorn made his announcement as do all the cool kids; on the mean streets of Twitter dot com.

As a junior at Father Lopez High School, Castleton averaged 23.3 points, 11 rebounds and 5.4 blocks per game.

Castleton is the fourth four-star prospect to commit to the Wolverines in this class, joining guard David Dejulius and forwards Brandon Johns and Ignas Brazdeikis. 3-star wing Adrian Nunez also committed to Michigan earlier this week as this is an impressive five-man group to build with.

Remember, it isn't even the start of the 2017 season and Michigan is already putting together a top-5 type of class.
