First unveiled during E3 2019, Microsoft Flight Simulator was a reboot of sorts for the series. It came out in August last year. Then, during Microsoft's presentation during E3 2021, they announced the release date of the game for the Xbox Series X. The game will be coming out on Microsoft's next-gen console on July 27, 2021.

This game appeared in our Top 10 upcoming Xbox Series X not coming to the PS5 list. While there isn't a lot of Xbox Series X console exclusives out there yet, it doesn't take anything away from this acknowledgment. Getting to fly a plane from Point A to Point B is surprisingly relaxing. It puts you under the same spell that Euro Truck Simulator does. While you can fly with a more relaxed control scheme, you can also go full-simulation mode if you wanted things to be more complicated. But going from one real-life place to another and seeing all these sights with your own eyes is an experience everyone should have. While bringing it to Xbox Series X might not exactly broaden the horizons of this game so much, it's still great that this game finally has a console port.
