Michael Porter Jr. was selected with the 14th pick in the draft by the Denver Nuggets, and there are a lot of questions surrounding Porter, but none about his actual play.

He has drawn high praise about his play, and Chauncey Billups said on the set of ESPN's draft coverage that Porter Jr. reminds him of a young Kevin Durant.

If Porter can stay on the court, he has all the makings of a superstar, but there are a ton of questions if he will be healthy enough to stay on the court.

He sat out most of his freshman year with the Missouri Tigers, because of a back injury, and concerns have popped up the last few weeks about how long he will be able to play in the NBA.

“It was just a little sore, so I told [my agent] my hip was kind of sore and he just wanted to shut it down for a couple of days,” Porter said earlier this week via ESPN. “And then people took that and kind of ran with it, saying, you know, my hip was injured, I couldn't get out of bed. … None of that was really true. I was just sore and I wanted to take a couple of days off. So that's all that was.”

During his interview with ESPN after being drafted, he said he felt like he would be ready for Summer League, and that he was just blessed having a chance in the NBA.

If Porter can stay healthy, the Nuggets just got themselves a steal.
