Wisconson Badgers big man Ethan Happ hasn't even decided if he wants to stay in this year's draft, but he has drawn some rave reviews during this years draft process. Happ was asked what NBA player he tries to be like and his answer was quick, Nikola Jokic.

“The Joker, honestly,” said Happ via The Denver Post, referring to Nuggets standout center Nikola Jokic. “I’ve gotten some comparisons. Obviously, he’s a lot better shooter, but (there are similarities) with the passing and the ball-handling for our size. He’s a great player. It’s always fun watching him.”

Happ was the heart and soul of the Badgers last year, and although the team didn't have a ton of success, Happ saw a lot of individual success.

He averaged 17.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. As impressive as the scoring and rebounding total is, his best asset might be his passing out of the post. He seems to see things that most other big men can't see out of the post. He wasn't surrounded by a lot of great shooters with the Badgers, but if he was his assists totals would probably be even higher.

The big question for Happ now is if he is going to stay in the draft or go back for another year with the Badgers. He didn't hire an agent so going back to school is still an option.

“I’m a fan of college basketball, as well, and I think I can really develop there,” said Happ, who could return to school because he has not hired an agent. “I’d like to get higher up, late first or early second, but so far that’s not what it’s looking like talking with teams.”
