NBA Draft prospect LaMelo Ball certainly upped his stock by putting on a show in front of a good number of NBA scouts in his highly-anticipated Australian National Basketball League debut on Friday.

ESPN's Jonathan Givony provided us with some inside scoop on just how well the 18-year-old performed under pressure.

The report went on to say that Ball could have easily notched a flashy triple-double, had he gotten a bit more help from his teammates.

LaMelo, the younger brother of New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball, recently decided against playing a year of college basketball in the United States, and instead, opted to play professionally overseas. LaMelo will be eligible for the 2020 NBA Draft, and he has made a great first step here in his long road to the big leagues.

Below are some highlights from Ball's memorable debut.

We can almost hear LaVar Ball raving about his son's latest outburst, with the Ball family patriarch reminding all of us of his youngest son's unrivaled potential. it doesn't appear like LaVar is going anywhere, so we will all just need to accept the fact that we will be seeing more of this overly outspoken man if and when LaMelo makes his way to the NBA.

Recently, LaVar and his family have been away from the spotlight, following Lonzo's move to the Pelicans. The market in Louisiana certainly pales in comparison to that of Hollywood, which is probably why we've heard less of LaVar and the rest of the Balls of late.

Nonetheless, you can be sure that LaVar will be back with a vengeance next season, when he finally gets his wish of having two of his sons playing in the NBA.
