Every year when the All-NBA team is announced there are usually a couple of head-scratchers, and it was no different this year.

James Harden of the Houston Rockets was not as a surprise as a first-team selection, and Chris Paul received 54 votes, just missing out on making one of the teams. Those two weren't the only two to receive votes, though. Clint Capela received six, and some voter thought that Trevor Ariza did enough to get on a team, and he ended with one vote.

Ariza played only 67 games and averaged 11.7 points and 4.4 rebounds.  He has been known as a good defender all of his careers, and that was the case again this year, but somehow Bradley Beal didn't receive a vote, and Ariza did.

It wasn't just Rockets players who received some weird votes. Dwight Howard received a vote and Steven Adams received three votes, and although both had good seasons, it's hard to say that they had better seasons than Beal, especially considering how much team success the two's teams had.

Kristaps Porzingis was on his way to one of the All-NBA teams no doubt, but he got injured relatively early in the season and only played 48 games. One voter didn't seem to mind and still gave him a vote.

DeMarcus Cousins is the in the exact same boat as Porzingis, only playing 48 games, and he still managed to get a vote. Both of these players were having great seasons, but when they only played 48 games, it's hard to understand why they still received a vote.
