Though he'll no longer be suiting up to play, three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade is still going to be involved in the game he loves, as the former Marquette Golden Eagle has taken a contributing role with Turner Sports' upcoming show, NBA on TNT Tuesday Night.

Wade, who enjoyed his farewell tour last season, says he's excited to be a part of TNT's new show, which is set to debut on January 28:

“The biggest thing is just really being excited, talking to the Turner family and producers and everybody involved about what this show can be,” Wade said of his new TV gig, via USA Today. “I don’t know how good I will be or how terrible I will be. …But I’m excited to go on TV and talk about the game and bring a perspective that I don’t even know that I have yet and just have fun.”

According to a report from Warner Media, Wade will serve alongside WNBA champion Candace Parker, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and Bleacher Report personality Adam Lefkoe as part of the headline studio crew. Mavs and Suns legend Steve Nash will contribute with on and off the court profiles.

Wade's arrangement with Turner will entail more than his time on this new show. According to USA Today, the deal also includes appearances at the Final Four, projects for Bleacher Report and an agreement with WarnerMedia for additional projects with Wade’s 59th and Prairie Entertainment production company.

Though he'll no longer be playing, Wade will still have an avenue to share his basketball knowledge. For more information on TNT's new show, head over to this link from WarnerMedia.
