The ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has forced a lot of people to quarantine inside their homes indefinitely, but NBA legend and newly inducted Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett is evidently finding ample time to continue his running habit.

On Monday, Associated Press NBA writer Tim Reynolds tweeted that he caught up with Garnett, who revealed that exercising is helping him  get through the difficult time.

The former Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics superstar famously had a proclivity for early morning beach jogs as part of his offseason training over the course of his unforgettable 21-year career. Earlier on Monday, fellow Hall-of-Fame power forward Charles Barkley praised The Big Ticket's premier work ethic during an appearance on ESPN's “Get Up“.

“I have never seen two NBA players play as hard as Kevin Garnett and Russell Westbrook night in, night out,” Chuck said. “There’s a lot of great players, a lot of great Hall of Famers, but Russell Westbrook — who’s gonna be in the Hall of Fame one day— and Kevin Garnett are the two hardest working players I’ve ever seen, and played against.”

The 15-time All-Star and 2008 NBA champion will be formally enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Aug. 29, alongside contemporaries Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan, WNBA legend Tamika Catchings, as well as coaching greats Eddie Sutton, Rudy Tomjanovich, and Kim Mulkey, among others.
