Basketball has taken Nate Robinson to several places around the world. This time, it has landed him a gig in Lebanon, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

Sources: 11-year NBA veteran Nate Robinson has signed a one-year deal with Homenetmen Beirut in Lebanon. The three-time Slam Dunk champion is currently playing in the Big 3 league.

Robinson, who is a co-captain for the Tri-State team in the BIG3 league, is not a stranger in playing hoops abroad. The three-time NBA slam dunk champion has played in Israel before for the Hapoel Tel Aviv in 2016 and in Venezuela last year when he suited up for the Guaros de Lara. In his first six games in the BIG3, the 34-year-old guard has averaged 10.3 points and 2.0 assists per outing.

By inking a new basketball contract, Robinson hopes that the door that leads to a possible return to the NBA remains ajar. Robinson was last seen in the NBA during the 2015-16 season when he appeared in just two games for the New Orleans Pelicans. Prior to his stint in New Orleans, Robinson played in 42 games in the 2014-15 season with the Denver Nuggets and the L.A. Clippers.

Robison has career averages in the NBA of 11.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 618 games spent with the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunder, Nuggets, Clippers, and Pelicans.
