BetOnline.ag has released their odds for which team Jimmy Butler will play the first game of the regular season with after his trade request. Despite asking for a trade, The Timberwolves still have the best odds at +100, but there are a few notable teams in the mix.

The three teams Butler told Minnesota he would sign an extension with are the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, and Los Angeles Clippers. While the Knicks have the second-best odds to have Butler on their opening night roster at +300, they've made it clear they aren't trading assets for a player they feel they can sign in the offseason.

The Nets could be the best bet for anyone looking to make a quick buck at +800. Brooklyn has the young players it would need to pull off this trade and the cap space to sign Butler to an extension. Additionally, the Nets are looking towards the playoffs and Butler would instantly insert Brooklyn into the conversation in the Eastern Conference.

The Clippers are certainly an option considering Butler is open to signing an extension, but don't rule out the Celtics, Lakers, 76ers, Spurs, or Raptors as possible suitors for Butler.
