Pierre Jackson was taken with the 42nd pick in the 2013 draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, but he hasn't been able to stick in the NBA. He did play nine games last year with the Dallas Mavericks yet didn't do enough to get a full contract, which was kind of surprising considering how well he's played outside of the NBA.

Jackson has made it very clear his intentions though: making it back to the NBA. And he will do anything to make his goal happen as he revealed in a recent interview with Hoops Hype.

“That’s my ultimate goal – to play at the highest level in basketball, play against the guys I grew up watching, and be able to stay at home [in the United States] to play in front of my family. Getting back to the NBA will be my goal until I can’t walk anymore.”

Last year, Jackson played for Maccabi Tel Aviv and he was outstanding.

He averaged 13.3 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.6 rebounds. He also helped lead his team to the Israeli League Cup in addition to being named the MVP of the Israeli League All-Star Game.

He has played in the D-League during his career and was named to the All-Star game in two years. Many have said that he is one of the best players not in the NBA right now, and there are no doubts he will get some looks this offseason at teams looking for a guard to add to their bench.
