Wilt Chamberlain, one of the greatest players in NBA history, had an outsized personality that was matched only by his maximalist scoring explosions and incredible feats of stat-stuffing throughout the annals of NBA history.

Of course, one of Wilt’s most iconic records, was his 100 points scored in a single game — a feat which occurred on March 2, 1962 when he was a member of the Philadelphia Warriors.

No other player in NBA history has reached triple digits, with Kobe Bryant being the second-closest with 81 points in 2006. In Wilt’s incredible game, he played all 48 minutes and also notched an absurd 25 rebounds.

Wilt Chamberlain finished the game going 36 of 63 from the field (bananas) in a game that featured a whopping 233 offensive possessions (bonkers). Needless to say, the game was different back then.

According to TMZ Sports, the score card for Chamberlain’s legendary performance was recently auctioned off and sold for an incredible sum: $214,000 to be exact.

According to the TMZ story, “the scorer's sheet — autographed by Chamberlain — had never been sold before. The Warriors' official scorer held the item … and when he passed away, his widow gifted it to a close friend who held onto it for years … before auctioning it off.”

An auction aficionado believed that the scorer’s sheet would fetch around $100,000, but just like Chamberlain’s points record, the actual price blew that out of the water.
