In a year full of insane upsets, it is still the heavy favorites that won the 2018 NCAA National Tournament, as Donte DiVincenzo and the Villanova Wildcats wounded up on top of the college basketball world after taking down No. 3 seed Michigan Wolverines in the Finals on Monday, 79-62.

The thousands in attendance at the Alamodome in San Antonio and the millions who were watching the game at home saw the Wildcats rip apart Michigan’s vaunted defense with their own display of elite shooting. Among those who watched the game were numerous NBA players, who had the convenience of kicking it back this Monday night with no NBA games scheduled today.

Here are some of the reactions from the pros:

For former Villanova player Randy Foye, it sure is a good time to be on Twitter.

Despite the Wolverines coming up short of their goal, Michigan product and Brooklyn Nets guard Caris LeVert could not help but be proud of Moritz Wagner and company.

Spencer Dinwiddie, meanwhile, had a hilarious exchange with his Brooklyn teammate regarding Michigan’s loss. He even used a quote from Talladega Nights to rub some more schadenfreude on LeVert.

Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin probably have the best Villanova-related tweet so far, as he just can’t contain himself from praising Final Four MVP Donte DiVincenzo. DiVincenzo led the Wildcats in the title game with 31 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the field in 37 minutes of action off the bench.
