In a rare showing of a completely unprofessional behavior, NBA top insider Adrian Wojnarowski recently went on a NSFW rant addressed to United States Senator Josh Hawley. According to a report, his antics have earned Woj a suspension from his employer, ESPN.

This is via fellow league insider Ryan Glasspiegel of Outkick:

Earlier in the week, Woj received a rather strongly worded email from the Missouri Senator about the damaged relationship between the NBA and China. Adrian Wojnarowski did not exactly take the senator's message too well and responded with a nasty “f–k you.”

Woj quickly realized his mistake and made a public apology not long after:

The famed NBA insider is usually a cool head, so this is rather uncharacteristic of him. Nevertheless, the damage has been done and he has been reportedly suspended by ESPN for his irresponsible act.

Woj may have been offended by what the senator told him, and he completely had the right to disagree with Hawley's opinion. Nevertheless, responding with profanity is undeniably a poor choice.

According to Glasspiegel's report, it is not clear how long ESPN will be suspending the renowned broadcaster and analyst or if this will have any financial ramifications. The network, however, have no control over Woj's social media activity, so we should expect him to remain active on Twitter and drop some NBA inside info moving forward.

Nonetheless, this should serve as a lesson for Woj — and the rest of us actually — in always remaining watchful with and responsible for our actions, regardless of how enraging the situation may be.
