The New Orleans Pelicans are reportedly not interested in the Los Angeles Lakers' trade offer for superstar big man Anthony Davis, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

The Lakers have reportedly offered the Pelicans a package consisted of point guard Lonzo Ball, small forwards Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma, shooting guard Josh Hart and multiple draft picks.

New Orleans, however, is apparently not impressed with what LA has to offer for Anthony Davis, who has requested a trade:

“From what I know, from sources have told me, the Pelicans are not interested,” Windhorst said on ESPN radio. “They’re not interested in any of it. They’re not interested in two first-round picks and all four young players. They don’t like the Lakers’ offer.”

The Boston Celtics can top Los Angeles' offer with forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, point guard Terry Rozier and all of the draft picks they have at their disposal. The Celtics can't trade for Anthony Davis until the summer when point guard Kyrie Irving opts out of his 2019-20 player option.

It is also believed the Pelicans don't want to do business with the Lakers. New Orleans would be wise to take the approach that the San Antonio Spurs did with Kawhi Leonard and trade Davis to the Eastern Conference.
