Orlando Magic rookie Cole Anthony is one of the boldest young athletes in the league right now. Aside from knocking down huge shots in the court, the 21-year-old has been known to dabble in the crypto space and be one of the early adopters when it comes to NBA Top Shot – an NFT platform that's been on a meteoric rise since the start of 2021.
Just this week, Anthony literally bet on himself and dropped a couple of thousand dollars to purchase two of his game-winning Moments on the platform. Here's Anthony's exchange with @PackripEwing confirming the two huge buys:

Talk about putting money where your mouth is.
The digital collectibles Anthony snagged are the most expensive ones in the NBA Top Shot Marketplace under his name. Being a rookie, Anthony only has four Moments available and his Legendary Holo Icon Moment is definitely the most premier one. Being a Legendary Moment, this particular collectible only has 99 Moments in circulation and, Anthony now owns two of them.
Aside from these two valuable items in his collection, Anthony owns five more Moments under his name including his unforgettable buzzer-beating three against the Minnesota Timberwolves as well as his rookie debut back in December 2020.
That's how you bet on yourself.
The former North Carolina Tar Heel isn't the only member of the NBA who's been going crazy on the platform. His fellow Orlando teammates Terrence Ross as well as fellow rookie RJ Hampton have been hooked, as well. Players like Harrison Barnes and Richaun Holmes of the Sacramento Kings, to name a few, have also been active collectors in the platform.
