Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden was taken out of the game against the New York Knicks after he experienced hamstring tightness that was triggered when driving to the hoop, as reported by Marc Berman of New York Post:

The Nets confirmed that Harden was not going to return after being taken out. He was also diagnosed with a right hamstring tightness.

The Nets have been plagued by injuries, as their Big 3 have been battling injuries all throughout the season. Kyrie Irving underwent shoulder surgery last season and has fought with his fair share of injuries this 2020-21. In addition, Kevin Durant fought through his Achilles injury only to miss 23 consecutive games due to a left hamstring strain.

With James Harden's hamstring issue, Nets fans are waiting anxiously for the three to step on the floor injury-free.

Currently tied with the Philadelphia 76ers for the best record in the Eastern Conference, the Nets are the favorites to take it all. However, it won't come easy, especially with all of the injuries that they have experienced this season alone. The Eastern Conference has some tough competitors, and whoever comes out of the Western Conference will be ready to snatch the championship away from Brooklyn if they make the finals.

Fans can only hope that Harden comes back soon and healthy. They will need every single member of the team to step up and play their roles if they want to cruise through the playoffs this year.
