All eyes were on James Harden when he finally made his Brooklyn Nets debut on Saturday night. Prior to the game, as Harden went through his shootaround, fans saw a noticeable difference from Harden's physique compared to how he looked in his days as a disgruntled member of the Houston Rockets.

Reactions aside, perhaps Harden just puts on a multiple layers prior to the games. Or as others jokingly pointed out, maybe the former Rockets superstar just put on a finesse job to convince Houston to ship him out of town.
Regardless, both sides appear to have moved on. The James Harden era is over in Houston and Harden gets a fresh start with the Nets.
The 2017-18 NBA MVP certainly looked like the James Harden of old, as he put up a triple-double in his Brooklyn debut. Harden tallied 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists in the 7-point win over the Magic. He did, however, commit nine turnovers as he played his first game with his new teammates. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant led the Nets with a game-high 42 points.
Brooklyn is still waiting for Kyrie Irving to join the fray as he continues to deal with whatever he's going through. Nonetheless, if Saturday is any indication, the Nets are certainly on the short-list of title favorites, regardless if Kyrie shows up or not.
