In a rather amusing turn of events on Tuesday, Kevin Durant went to Twitter and seemingly took a shot at all the haters questioning his “legacy” with a series of funny tweets.

It all started with a single tweet from Durant asking his followers, “Did u add to your legacy today? If so, what did u do?” Of course several people responded, and the Nets star hilariously took the time to respond to some of them.

Maggie Hendricks of Bally Sports said that she emptied the dishwasher, which earned the praise of Durant due to her “leadership.” After all, she “made everybody in the house better.”

Meanwhile, when Jake McGrady of RapTV said he drank 4.5 cups of coffee in two hours, Durant was not impressed and deducted some legacy points from him. Ouch!

Kevin Durant has always been vocal on Twitter and frequently engages on social media. His latest work, however, is an epic masterclass to fire back at his haters while connecting with his fans (and maybe also his critics).

It's easy to see what Durant is referencing in his tweets. After all, when he moved to the Golden State Warriors and won two championship there, several people questioned his legacy since he took the easy way to the title. Even when he tried to be his own man and paired up with Kyrie Irving with the Brooklyn Nets, people still kept bashing him for what he has achieved in the NBA and what he did not.

Also, remember how some analysts said that the Warriors winning the 2022 title without KD tarnishes the legacy of the superstar forward? They basically gave him a deduction in his legacy points.

Now that he demanded a trade from the Nets, many are questioning his leadership–with some even saying that he's ungrateful to Brooklyn who did everything to help him and best position him to succeed.

Durant has always been a fun follow on Twitter, and his latest activities should only earn him more fans … and, well, haters.
