Nets’ Kevin Durant teases brand new Nike sneaker

Kevin Durant, Nets

Kevin Durant has had a roller coaster of a career the last few years. The Brooklyn Nets superstar was recently in headlines due to his comeback from injury, while also making the news for his ugly interaction with Michael Rapoport over social media. Even so, Kevin Durant seems unbothered by the criticism and lack of play, as he shares a quick look at his new signature shoe with Nike.

Kevin Durant has had one of the top basketball shoe money can buy since signing his deal with Nike. The KD14’s should continue to make waves as a top-of-the-line shoe for the sport. Collectors and players alike will likely be flocking to stores or the Nike website to get their pair.

The KD14 offers a sleek and unique color scheme. A combination of black with gold accents makes the shoe really stand out. Of course, the famous Nike swoosh makes an appearance on the side, as with all of their shoes. Durant’s initials are etched on the tongue, which also serves as his logo.

Kevin Durant is arguably the best pure scorer in NBA history. This year, he’s played minimal games due to a hamstring injury, but when he’s on the court he produces like the Kevin Durant we know him to be. In just 20 games, Durant is averaging 28.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. He comes back into the Brooklyn Nets roster at the right time, as they’re bound to be fully healthy for the playoffs.

Catch the Nets’ next game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night. Maybe we’ll see Kevin Durant repping his new shoe in this matchup.
