The Brooklyn Nets are currently in a 0-2 hole in their first-round series against the Boston Celtics heading into a must-win Game 3 on Saturday. Between injuries and inconsistent play, this team hasn't exactly lived up to expectations across the last couple of seasons since Steve Nash took over as head coach.

That has raised the question, is Nash the right man for the job? Well, if you're asking New York Knicks legend Charles Oakley, he believes Nash likely isn't.

Via TMZ Sports:

“The problem with the Nets was I don't know if Nash is the right coach for them,” Oak said at LAX this week. “I don't know. Being a ballplayer watching them, you know, everybody say, ‘well, this and that, if you got Kyrie and KD' but you still need somebody at that front seat.”

Oakley has a point. The Nets can have all the talent in the world but if they don't have the right coach, it really means nothing. Oakley also claims it all went downhill for Brooklyn once they traded for James Harden. Interesting take. We also need to consider this is Nash's first HC job. For a team with serious title aspirations, there's a lot of pressure on him.

Let's hope the Nets can get back in this series.
