The Brooklyn Nets had to rely on Kyrie Irving once again to get them over the New York Knicks. This time, Uncle Drew delivered.

Thanks to his heroic stat line of 26 points, two rebounds and five assists, Kyrie and the Nets managed to hold off a young and fiery Knicks team from giving them consecutive defeats. The performance was topped by a superb game-winner that banked on its way in.

Fans were understandably thrilled with the result. Irving himself was extremely happy with the way the game went that he immediately rushed to his father and gave him his jersey.

It was a nice moment to end a fantastic outing that was not friendly to the Nets. Despite the fact that they were playing at Barclays Center, a lot of the five boroughs are still Knicks fans.

They didn't hide their displeasure of the 2016 NBA champion, booing him whenever they got the chance.

Moreover, the game got tense for both sides as they tried to establish dominance in New York. Fortunately for Kyrie, it was a battle that ended in their victory.

Kyrie once again reminded Knicks fans in attendance that they're in Nets Country now, and there's little they can do to stop them.

This win doesn't change the fact that it will be a struggle for Kyrie, though. Kevin Durant is still out for the season, and the Eastern Conference has the Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers to be concerned about. It will be a miracle if Kyrie takes this team deep into the playoffs, but he'll be trying his best as his father proudly watches him.
