Peyton Manning and Tom Brady were being interviewed about their charity golf event that is scheduled to take place on May 24th on Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida. Manning is a pretty witty guy and during his interview, he had a couple of good one-liners at Brady and his leaving of the New England Patriots.

Talking about where the tournament was being hosted, Manning said he wishes they could have golfed in some place where the people hated Brady — like Indianapolis, Denver, or Boston.

“I’ll be honest, I’ve never played Tom very well on his home turf,” said Manning. “And so, maybe this is considered a neutral site and I would have loved to have had this tournament in a place where they don’t like Tom very much Indianapolis, Denver, Boston — after he just betrayed them and broke their hearts.”

It's hard to imagine that Boston hates Brady after all he has accomplished, but it was still a perfect time for Manning to give Brady a little grief.

The golf event that has been named “The Match: Champions for Charity” will feature Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson teeing it off against Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. The four golfers along with WarnerMedia will make a donation for COVID-19 relief that totals $10 million. There will also be more in course challenges to raise more money for charity.

The match will be on TNT and it should be must-watch television. Manning and Brady are two of the biggest rivals in football, while Phil and Tiger have the same type of relationship on the golf course. Look for plenty of trash talk that all goes towards a great cause.
