The Kansas City Chiefs dropped a video regarding the Super Bowl ring that each player and coach will receive after winning the championship last season. It looks like an awesome ring that's made with 529 diamonds and 38 rubies. However, somehow, some way, there's a typo on the ring.
At the very least, the video the Chiefs shared on social media was cool. The ring looks great except for that one minor error. Either way, here's the clip the franchise shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Did you see the typo? If not, it's okay. Ari Meirov of The 33rd team has you covered. On the inside of the ring, the Chiefs display the opponents they faced in the playoffs along with their seeding. But unfortunately, the ring says the Miami Dolphins were the No. 7 seed in the AFC. They were actually the No. 6 seed.
How does that even happen? Who's fault is this? Is anyone going to step up and take the blame? At the very least it's just a video reveal. So, hopefully, the typo is only in the video and not on the actual ring. But there's a real chance that every single ring that was made has that typo.
And if that's the case, then that's a wildly expensive mistake. 529 diamonds and 38 rubies used on probably well over 100 rings and they all have the same typo? Yikes. I don't want to be the person who made that mistake whatsoever and I'm glad I'm not. Considering the Chiefs already received their Super Bowl rings, it might be too late to fix the error.
Can the Chiefs' go for the three-peat?
Kansas City had quite the offseason that's been filled with a ton of drama. Despite that the Chiefs are still looking like a threat to win the Super Bowl next season. Especially after some of the moves the front office made to improve the roster.
With that said, Rashee Rice's future is up in the air right now. But luckily for the Chiefs, they signed Marquise Brown in free agency then turned around and selected Xavier Worthy in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Combine those two with Patrick Mahomes' favorite target, Travis Kelce, and you have yourself a dangerous passing attack filled with speed.
Additionally, the ground game is likely to remain consistent as Isiah Pacheco will be the featured back. With Andy Reid calling plays it's hard to imagine the Chiefs losing many games. Even the defense is stacked as the front office retained most of the starting players from last season.
No team in NFL history has ever won three Super Bowls in a row. But the Chiefs have the tools to do so. This franchise is on the verge of making history. However, we'll have to see how the 2024-25 season plays out.
