After winning Game 2 at home in thrilling fashion, Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic thinks the team will be “relaxed a little bit” in Game 3 of their first round series against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Nuggets were on the verge of going down 0-2 when point guard Jamal Murray put the team on his back, scoring 21 points in the fourth quarter. Jokic believes the energy the team had in Game 2 can spark them to play inspired basketball on the road in Game 3.

Thursday will be the first road playoff game for Jokic, Murray and Gary Harris. The crowd in San Antonio is going to be booming. The Nuggets have to keep their composure if they want to steal Game 3 and reclaim home-court advantage.

Jokic is averaging 15.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 11.0 assists through the first two games of this series. The All-Star center is shooting 45.8 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 87.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The Spurs don't have anyone who can guard Jokic in the paint. Denver needs to keep feeding Jokic the ball in the post if they want to win this series since we don't know if the team's outside shooting will be there every night.
