Like Aspen, Square One has yet to compete in the biggest stage of the competitive Overwatch scene. For the past four months, the club has been making numerous moves. Last August, they announced the arrival of Diana “Empress” W. to serve as the team's head coach, followed by the departure of player development coach Anne “Tokki” Hutchinson which occurred on September. She was replaced by Michael “Fichael” Whyte on October.

Both parties are hoping that their efforts will yield a spot at the upper echelons of the competitive Overwatch scene.

It was in 2017 when Aspen began her Overwatch journey by streaming on Twitch. This led her to being contacted by Cloud9 to serve as a streamer in 2018. She made a major career change when she announced her departure from Cloud9 in pursuit of a career as a professional player in the Overwatch League.
