Malcolm Brogdon delivered big time in crunch time for the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday. With his team down by one with five ticks left in overtime against the Orlando Magic, the 28-year-old combo guard made sure to defend their home floor with the biggest shot of the ball game.

Brogdon caught the pass from Doug McDermott and fired away a booming triple from the left wing with no hesitation whatsoever.

The 6-foot-5 combo guard's shot was cash money, giving the Pacers a 120-118 victory. While most players would flex or scream after clutch plays like that one, Malcolm Brogdon's cold blank stare afterward only made his game-winner even more epic. The former Rookie of the Year winner finished with 23 points, six assists and three rebounds. He made eight of his 18 field goals and drilled two 3-pointers.

Some pundits thought the Pacers overpaid for Brogdon's services when they gifted him a four-year, $85 million deal back in 2019. The 6-foot-5 playmaker, however, is living up to that contract and more. Prior to Friday's contest, he was tallying 22.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.7 steals.

The win improved the Pacers' record to 9-6 in the East, which is tied for third place with Brogdon's former team Milwaukee Bucks.
