With the Green Bay Packers clinched, this franchise can now put all focus and attention on getting healthy and preparing for the playoffs. It's been a fantastic season for this team, even after some of the controversy that has ensued. Davante Adams spoke out about his teammate, Aaron Rodgers, comparing him to NBA superstar LeBron James.

According to The Athletic, Davante Adams believes Aaron Rodgers has a “LeBron effect,” regarding Rodgers' career. The Packers receiver claims, “He’s kind of got the LeBron effect with everybody,” wide receiver Davante Adams said. “He has to play at an MVP level every week because that’s just what people expect at this point.”

It's true, we caught a glimpse of what this team looks like without Aaron Rodgers and it was an ugly sight to behold. The Packers have been at the top of the league in most seasons due to Rodgers' ability on the field. Much can be said about LeBron James, who constantly leads his teams with MVP caliber play.

“He's definitely spoiled the fans and the rest of the world with his play, but when you can consistently do it at that level, it's really no pressure to go out there and just perform. What kills me about the way he plays is just how easy it is,” per Davante Adams on The Athletic.

With the Packers having clinched the top seed of the NFC, Green Bay now prepares for their playoff run. They still have to play in Week 18, but it's not a must-win game for this team. With Aaron Rodgers leading the way, this franchise finds itself in a comfortable spot in the postseason once again.
