Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams just wrapped up another highly productive campaign, and according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, he just earned his first Pro Bowl appearance after being chosen to replace Atlanta Falcons star wideout Julio Jones.

This comes a few weeks after the 25-year-old agreed to a new four-year, $58.7 million extension to remain with the Packers. Adams has quickly emerged as one of their most dependable receiving options over the last couple of years. He put his abilities on full display this past season despite star quarterback Aaron Rodgers missing a significant chunk of time due to a broken collarbone.

Adams recorded a team-best 74 catches for 885 receiving yards with 10 touchdowns in 14 games played. Much of that came with backup Brett Hundley under center. In his seven games with the UCLA product, Adams made 46 receptions for 543 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

He was one of three players to record 10 or more receiving touchdowns, finishing tied for second with Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham while trailing only Houston Texans wideout DeAndre Hopkins' league-best mark of 13.

The four-year wideout joined Jordy Nelson, Antonio Freeman, Sterling Sharpe, and Don Hutson as the only players in franchise history to haul in 10-plus touchdown receptions in consecutive seasons. His 237 catches and 26 receiving touchdowns are the fourth-most by a Packers' player in their first four seasons in the league. The addition of Adams to the NFC Pro Bowl roster also makes it nine straight years that the Packers have had an offensive player represent the team at the event.
