While Nelson spent the 2018 campaign with the Oakland Raiders, hauling in 63 receptions for 739 yards and three touchdowns, he resided with the Packers for the first 10 years of his NFL career.

Nelson, who played his collegiate football at Kansas State University, was originally selected by Green Bay in the second round (36th pick overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft.

His career got off to a quiet start, as his best year of his first three seasons came in 2010, when he caught 45 passes for 582 yards and a couple of scores. However, in his fourth season, Nelson broke out, snaring 68 balls for 1,263 yards and 15 touchdowns.

After a decent fifth year in 2012, Nelson then went on to have one of the best seasons his career in 2013, registering 85 catches for 1,314 yards while reaching the end zone eight times.

In spite of his massive success in both 2011 and 2013, Nelson did not actually made the Pro Bowl until the 2014 campaign, when he finished with 98 receptions for 1,519 yards and 13 touchdowns.

The 33-year-old then missed the entire 2015 season due to a torn ACL, but he returned with a vengeance in 2016, racking up 97 catches for 1,257 yards and a league-leading 14 scores.

Nelson would end up spending one more year in Green Bay in 2017, recording 53 catches for 482 yards and six touchdowns before moving on to the Raiders last season.
