The 2020 NFL regular season schedule has officially been released, and it already seems like we've got a little bit of drama. According to Darin Gantt of ProFootballTalk.com, the Green Bay Packers requested to have road games in Week 3 and Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season.

One was accepted, but the other was denied.

In Week 3, the Packers will head down to play the New Orleans Saints in Louisiana. That works out nicely for them, as golf's Ryder Cup will be hosted just about an hour away from Green Bay. Obviously, that could have created some problems for the area.

However, they weren't so lucky with Week 4. That week, the Packers will be playing the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. That game will be in Green Bay.

There's a pretty glaring issue with that though. Wisconsin will be hosting Notre Dame in College Football just two days before the Monday Night Football game. Oh, and that game will be at Lambeau Field.

You could see where the issue might arise. It's going to be difficult to keep the field in playing condition in that amount of time.

It definitely isn't impossible, but it might not be as safe for the players to be on the field on Monday night as it usually would. Therefore, it makes sense that the Packers were hoping to have an away game in Week 4.

Schedule making can't be easy though. The NFL has to make sure every team gets their eight home games and eight away games with the proper opponents, as well as a Bye Week. With that said, it's understandable that teams will be in somewhat difficult situations sometimes.

This appears to be one of those situations, as the Packers and Falcons will be playing Week 4 on a field that probably isn't 100 percent.
