Aaron Rodgers had the same reaction as the rest of us when the Green Bay Packers selected Jordan Love in the 2020 NFL Draft. While Rodgers and Love have spent time together in training camp, head coach Matt LaFleur opened up on the two quarterbacks' relationship during an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio.

Heading into the 2020 NFL Draft, the Packers were expected to add some weapons around Rodgers in the offense. This year's draft class was littered with talented wide receiver prospects.

Instead of giving Rodgers another pass-catcher though, Green Bay traded up to take his eventual replacement at quarterback. Rodgers was surprised to see the team make the move, but he's apparently been working well with Love so far. Even though rumors began to spread, LaFleur believes something was made out of nothing when it came to Rodgers and Love.

The moment the Packers took Love in the first round, many began to speculate on Rodgers' future with the organization. Despite signing a four-year, $134 million extension in 2018, Rodgers' time in Green Bay may come to a close sooner rather than later.

Nonetheless, he's entering his 16th year with the Packers and figures to be as motivated as ever in 2020. At the same time, he'll have to lead an offense that seemingly lacks firepower outside of Davante Adams and Aaron Jones.

Knowing the competitor that Rodgers is, deep down he probably hated the Packers taking Love in the draft. With that being said, he's accepted somewhat of a mentor role with the rookie quarterback in training camp.
