LeBron James is widely considered as one of the best, if not the best basketball player in the world today. His all-around brilliance on the court has drawn a lot of comparisons with some greats, including Magic Johnson. Many people see a lot of similarities in their games as they can score, pass, and defend well at any given time.

However, for Pat Riley, he thinks that the Los Angeles Lakers legend can beat James in their prime and even cited two reasons why Johnson will win.

The Miami Heat president has had the privilege of working with both champions as he was Johnson's head coach back in the 1980s, while The King had a four-year stay in South Beach that lasted until 2014. His pick definitely says a lot about how good he thinks the 6-foot-9 point guard was as a player. They won five championships together and Johnson became a 12-time All-Star, three-time MVP, and nine-time All-NBA First Team member during his illustrious career.

Although the two played in different eras, the thought of seeing them competing against each other at the peak of their careers is something that intrigues the minds of a lot of fans.
