Antonio Brown will play for the New England Patriots against the Miami Dolphins. However, if you're wondering what his role will be, good luck with that.

During his pregame interview on 98.5, Pats head coach Bill Belichick told what Brown's role would be. Via Jim McBride of the Boston Globe:

“We’ll see how big his role is today. Not sure. He'll play.”

So, yea, there's your answer hopeful fantasy football owners: there is none. If you're new to the Belichickian way, get used to it. At least “he worked hard and diligently,” according to Belichick.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport has a bit more information on his role. According to Rapoport, New England plans to “feed him,” against Miami. Reportedly, Brown has been staying until after 10 p.m. or later at the Patriots facility catching passes from rookie quarterback Jarrett Stidham, while working on the details of his routes and honing the Patriots playbook.

There was a thought that Brown may not play Week 2. Shortly after signing with the Patriots, Britney Taylor filed sexual assault and rape allegations on Brown. It was new information. However, the NFL did not place him on the Commissioner's Exempt List, meaning he is eligible to play.

Brown's wild ride to get to Week 2 is something worth chronicling over an ESPN “30 for 30” documentary. Throughout an offseason, he got traded from ‘Burgh to the Bay, then froze his feet, threatened to retire over a helmet, fought with his general manager, and finally got to New England after publicly asking and getting a release.
