Based on how much praise he has for James White, it's safe to say that Damien Harris is a huge fan of his 28-year-old teammate. Harris, who is currently on his second year with the New England Patriots, recently admitted that White is someone he very much looks up to.

According to Harris, he considers White to be an ultimate professional:

“I can’t even put into words how much you can learn from a guy like James White,” Harris said, via Conor Roche of boston.com. “First of all, being a professional, the way he takes care of his business, the way he comes to work every day with a mentality of being a leader and a go-to guy that we can depend on, and he never lets us down.”

White, who himself lost his father a couple of months ago to a vehicular accident, has apparently been a huge influence in Harris' young career:

“Just for short, I think having a guy like that to look up to has been helpful in my development as a player, and I really look up to him a lot. And he knows that,” Harris said. “I tell him every day, every chance I get. James White is definitely a guy you can say, ‘Yeah, I want to be like James White when I grow up.'”

Damien Harris has emerged as one of the top running backs in the league today, having played a key role in the Giants' season thus far. He hasn't let his success get to his head, though, as he continues to look up to his vets with the objective of further improving his game.
