It's another NFL season, which means another rumor about Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the New England Patriots has to come out. In ESPN's Ian O'Connor's book, “Belichick: The Making of the Greatest Football Coach of All Time,” he reveals a source told him Brady has long been worried about Belichick forcing him out of New England.

As shocking as it may seem thinking Belichick would want to force Brady out, some people on the coaching staff might agree because they think the team could make a Super Bowl run without Brady.

According to the book, Brady got worried in 2014 when the Patriots drafted Jimmy Garoppolo. That is when some of the staff members started to feel they didn't need Brady to win.

One New England assistant said the general feeling among staff members around that time wasn't that Belichick's system could make Super Bowl quarterbacks out of all 32 NFL starters. “But if you gave us any of the top 15, we could do it,” the assistant said. “I don't think the coaches view Tom as special as everyone else in football does. Mr. Kraft thinks Tom is the greatest gift ever, but the coaches don't.”

Belichick is very much a plug-and-play type of coach and always seems to know when to cut a player, even if it is shocking to the rest of the league. Brady only has a few years left, so it's only a matter time before Belichick will get his chance to win with another quarterback under center.
