Rumors surrounding All-Star forward Anthony Davis have been incessant during the trade deadline and the offseason, as most wonder what his landing spot might be when seen as the missing piece of other teams' puzzles.

Yet The Brow has shown no signs of being willing to move or consider other options that don't involve the Big Easy.

A large reason of that has been his partner-in-crime, DeMarcus Cousins, who he openly said would play a major role in his decision once he becomes a free agent.

“(DeMarcus Cousins) is a big factor, seeing what he's going to do, but I'm here until 2021, and then (I will) make a decision from there,” said Davis, according to Jim Eichenhofer of NBA.com. “I don't plan on leaving in the next couple years. I've always said I wanted to be here, and it's still true.”

Fire and Ice have proven inseparable during their short time together, sharing the Pelicans' frontcourt for less than an entire NBA season. Yet the twin-tower duo has been one of the scariest to deal with — a combination of power and finesse that could give the Western Conference nightmares for years to come.

Cousins' injury was a complete flat tire for this Pelicans roster that was peaking at the right time, holding on for dear life to their eighth spits and now finding themselves just one game out of fifth place and 1.5 games ahead of 10th in what's been a really tight race in the West.
