It's reportedly highly unlikely New Orleans Pelicans superstar big man Anthony Davis changes his stance on wanting to be traded despite having a productive and respectful meeting with executive vice president of basketball operations David Griffin on Wednesday in Los Angeles, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Watch Stadium.

Griffin and Davis' agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, have a previous relationship and are expected to talk again soon.

Griffin and the Pelicans were hoping winning the draft lottery would help Davis change his mind. It appears, though, that AD is hell bent on leaving New Orleans and resuming his basketball career elsewhere.

You can expect the New York Knicks, Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers to reach out to Griffin and the Pelicans now. Those are the three teams with reported interest in trading for Davis this summer.

The Knicks can offer the Pelicans a package built around Kevin Knox, Mitchell Robinson, the third overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and the future picks they acquired from the Dallas Mavericks in the Kristaps Porzingis trade.

The Lakers, meanwhile, can send the same package they offered at the February trade deadline and include the fourth overall pick in this year's draft.

Finally, the Celtics can offer Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and the bevy of draft picks they have at their disposal.

Griffin, an astute basketball mind, will surely get the best package in return for Davis.
