What seemed like a harmless 1-8 series has turned into a testy tussle in the Western Conference first round. That applies quite literally in Game 3 between the New Orleans Pelicans and Phoenix Suns.
Pelicans center Jaxson Hayes was caught decking Suns veteran Jae Crowder right after a made basket. He was slapped with a flagrant 2 foul and subsequently ejected.

Jaxson Hayes was posterized by Suns guard Landry Shamet just a few plays earlier and might have still been hot-headed after being put on a poster. Hayes brought a ton of energy for the Pels in Game 3 and will surely be missed for the rest of the game.
