Veteran sports analyst Skip Bayless has made a name for himself as a fiery host on T.V. who is not afraid to speak his mind about different topics, whether it may be controversial or not. Recently, he made another bold claim on his Twitter account, taking a shot at New Orleans Pelicans big man Anthony Davis.
Bayless called Davis the most overrated player in basketball. That did not sit well with the Pelicans' social media team, which fired back at him immediately.
After seeing the tweet, the Pelicans' official account replied to his tweet and savagely roasted him with three photos. The first one includes his statistics as a player, followed up by a meme-worthy image of Stephen A. Smith, and his photos coming out as a result of Google search for the most overrated player in basketball.

Davis is undoubtedly one of the best players in the league today. He is a five-time All-Star, as well as former ASG MVP and two-time All-NBA First Team member, which only goes to show how much he has excelled since turning pro back in 2012. The Brow is also widely regarded as an elite two-way player who is very effective on both ends of the floor, making him a nightmare matchup for his opponents.
With Bayless being the vocal person that he is, it can be expected that he will respond to the roasting the Pelicans Twitter account gave him. It will be interesting to hear though what his argument will be why he called Davis as such, which could start a highly entertaining back-and-forth on the social media platform.
