The New Orleans Pelicans stole one inside the Portland Trail Blazers' home court with a Game 1 win, 97-95. The visitors managed to pull this one off thanks to a game-saving block courtesy of Jrue Holiday.

The Blazers appeared to be on the verge of completing a sly inbounds play as Pat Connaughton snuck in to receive the pass from Evan Turner in the paint. Just when Connaughton thought that he had shaken loose from his defender, Holiday made his presence felt with a clean rejection from behind.

That was one of Holiday's two blocks in the game that is complemented by 27 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. He got plenty of help from his teammates; Anthony Davis had another monster outing with 35 points, 14 rebounds, two steals, and four blocks. Nikola Mirotic was stellar with 16 points, 11 rebounds, two steals, and four blocks. Rajon Rondo was undeniably in playoff form as he finished the game with six points, eight rebounds, and 17 assists.

The Blazers, on the other hand, had to endure an abysmal shooting night from their potent backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum who shot a combined 13-of-41 from the field.

New Orleans has now stolen home court advantage away from Portland ahead of their Tuesday night matchup for Game 2.
