Detroit Pistons star point guard Derrick Rose recently worked out with his kids watching, and the video footage is pretty adorable.

Take a look:

Nothing like some wholesome Derrick Rose content to get you through the week. The Pistons guard may be working on his body, but Rose is always going to be a dad first.

Rose, who has one year left on his contract with the Pistons, appeared in 50 games for Detroit in 2019-20 before the season was suspended in March due to COVID-19. The youngest MVP in NBA history averaged 18.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists while shooting 49.0 percent from the field, 30.6 percent from beyond the arc and 87.1 percent from the free-throw line.

The Los Angeles Lakers have been linked to a possible Rose trade once the 2020 transaction period begins. Since the Pistons are rebuilding, it would make sense for Rose to be on a contending team.

With that being said, it's going to be interesting to see if Rose gets traded this offseason or at the 2021 trade deadline. No one is really expecting the Pistons to be good in 2020-21 even though Blake Griffin will be back in the lineup next to Rose.

Since entering the NBA in 2008 with the Chicago Bulls, Rose has compiled averages of 18.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists with the Bulls, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Pistons.
