It's the last four weeks of the NFL regular season, and the Raiders' playoff chances are dim. The 6-7 Las Vegas Raiders are currently in last place in the AFC West, with the Chiefs leading the division with a record of 9-4. Despite their unlikely playoff appearance this year, Derek Carr isn't throwing in the towel just yet. The quarterback expects his teammates to push forward with him.

According to Raiders Wire, there is a 5% chance that the Raiders will earn a spot in the playoffs. Carr spoke on the remainder of the Raiders' season:

“I think that for us to know that we’re still right there and we have four AFC teams that we play, two in the division. It’s not going to be easy, but you’re telling me that we have a chance. The way that we’ve come to work is we do have a chance and that’s a fact. But we have to win football games, that’s all that matters.” (quote courtesy of the Raiders Wire's Levi Damien)

If Carr wasn't this driven and optimistic in this situation, it would be concerning to me as an NFL fan. The league is powered by motivated professionals eager to defy odds and win football games, which is exactly what Carr plans to do. He doesn't care about how unlikely it is, he just wants to give his team the best chance at getting to the postseason.
