We are only two weeks into the NFL season and there is already an abundance of injuries to quarterbacks. Jared Goff of the Los Angeles Rams understands that injuries can happen at any moment in the NFL.

Per Mike Florio in ProFootballTalk:

“I feel for them,” Goff told reporters regarding the injured quarterbacks. “I don’t want to think about it too often because you always hope for the best, but you never know. I feel for those guys, a lot of those guys are my friends and obviously peers and I hope for the best.

“It’s a lot of different factors,” he said. “I think it’s a lot of luck and a lot of hard work as well as just kind of just being in the right spot and understanding how to move in different situations. Then, there is freak stuff that happens all the time. I did my shoulder in college. Crazy stuff happens, it’s a physical game and you always hope for the best.”

Through two weeks this season, we've seen the likes of Nick Foles, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, and Cam Newton all go down with an injury. Among them, only Roethlisberger has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Nonetheless, the state of the quarterback position is dwindling right now due to the slew of injuries. Luckily for Goff, he has been able to remain healthy as he continues his fourth season in the NFL.

Over his first 40 games in his young career, Goff hasn't missed a game due to an injury. As a result, the Rams have been able to win 26 of those games since 2017.

Moving forward, as fans of watching the game of football, hopefully no more injuries occur to the guys under center.
