The Los Angeles Rams have made some big changes to their coaching staff and quarterback Jared Goff is excited to see how they can improve the team. When the season starts next year, the Rams will have a new offensive and defensive coordinator along with special teams and running backs coach.

Kevin O'Connell is the team's new offensive coordinator after spending the last three years with the Washington Redskins. O'Connell started as a quarterbacks coach and moved all the way up to offensive coordinator. Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins had lobbied for the team to keep him, but the Redskins decided to hire Scott Turner instead.

Goff said he is excited to work with O'Connell and thinks he can add a lot of fresh perspective to the offense and team. Goff also made clear that no matter who was the new coach, the most important thing he can do is focus on himself.

“There’s a lot of things I want to focus on this year,” Goff said, via the Los Angeles Times. “I think I have the ability now to really invest in myself and put everything I have into myself, to come back better and stronger than ever and, hopefully, look back at 9-7 as a thing of the past.”

Goff had a lot of ups and down's during the 2019 season and he needs to focus on being more consistent. Hopefully, O'Connell can make a few changes to the offense along with head coach Sean McVay to make sure those things happen.
