Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff said after watching film, he saw “a lot of good and a lot of bad” with his performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Goff was able to throw for 517 yards and two touchdowns which was impressive, but he also threw three interceptions, and his team lost the game.

“[T]here was a lot of good and a lot of bad,” Goff told reporters via Pro Football Talk. “I think there’s some plays that I thought were really good and some were really bad. I think you try to evaluate each one by their own entity and try not to group any together. We dropped back, I think what it was 68 times or something, maybe even 70 including a sack or so. You try to take that with a grain of salt, knowing that it is going to be a little bit different sample size.”

Goff knows in the NFL it all comes down to wins and losses, and he didn't do enough to lead his team to a victory, and that means he needs to be better.

“Again, there was some stuff that I was really happy with. A lot of stuff in the pass game with myself up front and the receivers actually was good, but it wasn’t enough to win. We need to be a lot better.”

The interceptions were costly, but when a team scores 40 points and loses, there needs to be fingers pointed at others besides the quarterback. If Goff continues to be dynamic and can clean up the turnovers a bit, the Rams are going to be fine going forward.
