Good news for the Los Angeles Rams. Running back Todd Gurley's ankle is alright, and he will be able to participate next week against the Detroit Lions.

Nine days after hurting his ankle, Gurley looks completely fine, as per Mike Florio of NBC Sports.

It happened on the first drive of their game against the Kansas City Chiefs when he got rolled up by a defender on the sideline.

The bye week break has helped him in his recovery process. It allowed him to rest. His name was nowhere to be found on the injury report ahead of their Week 13 game.

Gurley only carried the ball 12 times in their Monday night shootout against the Kansas City Chiefs last week. He could have played a huge role in their 54-51 win, but coaches had a good reason to limit him because they were protecting him.

The NFL truly is a physical sport. One injury could mean a lot for a team. Gurley is a vital piece for the Rams and losing him could very well derail their strong run.
