After Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley carried the ball just four times for 10 yards during the Rams' win over the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship Game last Sunday, many surmised that Gurley's knee was still bothering him.

However, the Pro Bowler insists that his knee is just fine:

“I’m good. If there was an issue on my knee, it would be on the injury report,” Gurley told reporters, according to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk. “Come on now. I’m at practice. I’m playing.”

Gurley originally injured his knee during a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles back in Week 15. He then missed the final two games of the regular season and was limited in practice during the week leading up to the Rams' Divisional Round matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

The 25-year-old looked perfectly fine for that game, gashing the Cowboys' defense for 115 yards and a touchdown.

As for whether or not Gurley is hoping for a much bigger performance in the Super Bowl than against the Saints? He says that all he cares about is getting the ring:

“I don’t ask no questions. I just do my job,” Gurley said. “We got the win. That’s all that matters. I can not play one snap. I don’t care if [long snapper] Jake McQuaide is the Super Bowl MVP. I’ve got one more game left. I don’t care what nobody’s talking about. Y’all can call me hurt. Y’all can call me whatever, but we’re going to the Super Bowl.”

Gurley then added that the sport of football has “never been about one player.”
